Full Time and Part Time Coach Driver Positions

Vacancies have arisen for further Coach Driver positions based at our Conway Street depot working full time or part time, which may include weekends and bank holidays. The successful candidate will undertake various coaching duties in the local area, as well as UK tours which will require staying away from home on occasion, so flexibility is essential.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• To deliver a quality service to all customers travelling on our vehicles, which may include school/college contracts, short breaks & days out

• Regularly check vehicles for lost property in accordance with company procedures

• To carry out daily comprehensive safety checks to company and Department of Transport standards

• Plus, other commercial work e.g. football park & ride and rail replacements

You will need:

• A valid PCV licence giving entitlement to drive in the UK, without disqualification (maximum of 6 penalty points)

• Good self-management and motivation, as this role will frequently involve lone working for long periods of time

• A good knowledge of the Sussex area

• Preferably hold a digital tacho card, although this is not essential

• Good geographical knowledge and competent at reading road maps

• Flexibility and willingness to change duty at short notice

• Excellent customer care and communication skills
