Vacancies have arisen for Coach Drivers based at our Ringmer depot.

We are looking for a mixture of casual, part-time and full-time drivers to support a wide range of work across our coaching operation.

This role may include weekends and bank holidays and offers varied and rewarding driving opportunities across Sussex.

Flexibility is essential, as duties will vary and may require staying away from home on occasion.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver a high-quality, professional service to all customers travelling on our vehicles

• Operate services including school and college contracts, short breaks, days out, private hire and tour work

• Carry out daily comprehensive vehicle safety checks in line with Company procedures and Department for Transport standards

• Regularly check vehicles for lost property, in accordance with Company procedures

• Undertake additional commercial work such as football park & ride operations and rail replacement services

• Maintain excellent standards of customer care and communication at all times

You Will Need:

• A valid PCV licence with entitlement to drive in the UK (maximum of 6 penalty points)

• Good self-management and motivation, as the role will often involve lone working

• A good working knowledge of the Sussex area

• Good geographical awareness and confidence reading road maps

• A digital tachograph card (preferred but not essential)

• Flexibility and willingness to change duties at short notice

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

There is a requirement to undertake an Enhanced DBS check for this position.
